Just 7 days to go until our official 40th Birthday Celebrations! As was mentioned at the club meeting last night, and is in this month’s newsletter, we are holding our official 40th Birthday Celebrations next week, (10th September). Everything is arranged, the venue is announced, the wine is purchased and many people have kindly volunteered to bring along some nibbles. Don’t forget, if you are a club member and you plan on coming along, it would be great if you could bring along some nibbles too.
Sylvia is warming up for her star turn, Jean is getting ready for the Can-Can, Claire is counting down to the big event, Val is catering to all our needs, George is planting the seeds of another good idea, Bren is preparing all his Vices, Audrey is keeping order and Alex is ready to capture everything and make sure it ends up right here! Don’t miss out on what promises to be a great evening, come along and help celebrate 40 years of the Godstone Gardeners’ Club!
Crumbs! Just 24 hours to go until the big celebration! The weather forecast for tomorrow evening is dry and comfortable at between 15 and 17 degrees. There’s plenty of wine, most people are bringing nibbles and we’re all setup for a good evening.
