This month we had a visit from Colin Jones who talked about the Secret Gardens of London. It was a fantastic presentation of some amazing gardens that anyone just visiting London simply wouldn’t know about. At the end of the evening those attending were given the opportunity to purchase a copy of the list of gardens that Colin had talked about for them to arrange their own visits. Most gardens were free to visit and, where advance arrangements for a visit were required, the information sheet gave contact details for the gardens. Although the evening was one of the hottest this year, the hall was near to full with a good number of our members, plus 14 visitors!
Everyone said that they had enjoyed the evening and we hope to welcome back some of our visitors as members in the near future.
A great evening! Very informative, entertaining and amazing to know that so many green spaces exist in London!
